Matt Strahm-
Matt was a 2010 graduate of our program. After Matt left our program he went on to Neosho County Community College. Matt Played two years at Neosho before being selected in the 21st round of the 2012 MLB Draft. After battling through some injuries in the Minor Leagues Matt made his Major League debut on July 31st, 2016 with the Kansas City Royals. Eventually, Matt was traded to the San Diego Padres and on December 2, 2020 signed a one year contract with the organization.
Andy Young-
Andy was a 2013 graduate of our program. Andy was the 2012 MVP in the State Tournament helping the Patriots win their first ever State Championship. Andy spent his freshmen year at the University of Jamestown, before transferring to Neosho County Community College for his sophomore year. After his sophomore year he spent his junior and senior year at Indiana State University. Andy was drafted in the 37th round in 2016 by the St. Louis Cardinals. After moving up to AA in the organization he was traded to the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2018. Andy made his Major League debut with the Diamondbacks on August 1st, 2020.
