WFB Winter Camp Series

2025-2026 Winter Camp Series


Our Player Development Coordinator, Andy Young, will serve as the lead instructor for all camp offerings (with the exception of the Pitching Camp). The Pitching Camp will be led by 2018 WFB Alumni Ryan Bourassa (AA Braves), 2018 WFB Alumni Tristen Roehrich (FM RedHawks/NDSU Alum), and current WF Aces Coach Gene Gunderson. All camps will be held at the Scheels Performance Center. Please bring all necessary equipment. Molded cleats are allowed inside the facility (no metal spikes). When registering, please select the age division your athlete will participate in for the 2026 season. To review the 2026 age chart, please click here. All camps are $30, capped at 25 athletes per session, and are 1.5 hours in length. Registrations will close once a session reaches maximum capacity or 3 days before the camp date.


Camp Details

Pitching Camp — December 29

8U–9U: 9:30–11:00 AM
10U–11U: 11:30 AM–1:00 PM
Instructors: Ryan Bourassa (AA Braves), Tristen Roehrich (FM RedHawks/NDSU Alum), Gene Gunderson (WF Aces Coach)
Overview:
This camp is designed for athletes who are beginning their pitching journey. Focus areas include arm care and arm-strength routines, catch-play fundamentals for pitchers, pitching mechanics, and the mental aspects of pitching.

All Skills Camp — December 30

8U–10U: 9:30–11:00 AM
10U–12U: 11:30 AM–1:00 PM
Instructors: Andy Young (Player Development Coordinator), Jordan Rheault (Director/Patriots HC)
Overview:
Geared toward our RRVL athletes, this camp covers all core areas of the game: mental approach, offense, defense, pitching, and baserunning.

Infield Camp — January 10

9U–11U: 9:30–11:00 AM
12U–14U: 11:30 AM–1:00 PM
Instructors: Andy Young (Player Development Coordinator) & WFB Legion Infielders
Overview:
For athletes looking to elevate their infield play. Camp topics include infield IQ, footwork and buildup progressions, proper fielding technique, and at-home drills for continued improvement.

13U Big Field Transition Camp — February 16

13U: 9:30–11:00 AM
Instructors: Andy Young & Jordan Rheault
Overview:
Designed for athletes adjusting to the larger field dimensions. Focus will be on skills that scale, positioning, timing, and the nuances of the game as players transition toward high school–sized fields.

14U High School Preparation Camp — February 16

14U: 11:30 AM–1:00 PM
Instructors: Andy Young, Jordan Rheault, & Current WFB Patriot Players
Overview:
Built for 14U/8th-grade athletes preparing for upcoming high school tryouts and the high school season. Emphasis on readiness, expectations, and skills required at the next level.

Winter Team Camp — March 7

9U–10U: 9:30–11:00 AM
11U–12U: 11:30 AM–1:00 PM
13U–14U: 1:30–3:00 PM

Overview:
Designed for Travel and Advanced Division athletes. This camp focuses on preseason preparation and sharpening all areas essential for a successful spring and summer season.
