Workers Schedule Job Descriptions:
There are walkie talkies for the announcer, grill, concession worker, and legion events manager for communication amongst staff. This is especially relevant to the hot food items and when more needs to be grilled, half-off at the end of the night, etc.
Grill – Please arrive 30 minutes prior to game time for setup. Communicate with concessions staff on how many burgers and hot dogs are needed. We are mainly concerned that we have enough between games and we limit the number of hot food items that are left over after each night. Keep in mind the number of games being played that day/night, opponent, crowd size, weather, etc. After grilling is complete, please clean the grill.
Gate – Please arrive at least 45 minutes prior to game time. The concession workers can get the money bag out of the safe for you. The table and chair are inside the old concession stand in our building by the front gate. Gate can be closed at the start of the second inning of the second game of the night or at the start of the 3rd inning if there is only one game. Please put the table and chair away afterwards and give the money to the concession workers.
Announcing – Please arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of the game to collect lineups from the coaches.
Scoreboard – Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of the game.
Gameday Cleanup – All parents could assist in cleanup of the facilities outside of the field after the games that would be much appreciated. Cleanup consists of the following:
• Grandstand Cleanup – Blowing off and sweeping off debris/picking up the garbage.
• Garbage Cleanup – Please pick up all garbage outside of the field and throw away garbage bags into the dumpster.
• Covers on Tables – Please place the covers back onto the tables in the viewing area between the 3B dugout and the Grandstand.
• Please stack all the tables and chairs in one place on the 3B deck so they do not blow away.
